Our Philosophy

God's command is that the parent takes responsibility to make sure his child is trained properly. Therefore, it is imperative that the parent chooses a method of education that is compatible with both the child's individual learning needs and the family's spiritual belief system. For those parents who choose to delegate the academic training of their child to a school, it is essential that the school and the parent are in close harmony in their spiritual and educational philosophies as the child will spend many hours a day in that environment.

A school that is Christian at its very core will not only be excellent in its attention to a quality education, but will keep God central in all it does and teaches. All subjects must be taught from a Christian perspective. Moriah Christian Academy recognizes that there can be no true education apart from the Bible, as it is the foundation for all truth. God must be acknowledged as the source of all wisdom, and all true knowledge will always point to Him.

Moriah Christian Academy is unable to hide children from difficult life issues. It is our desire to teach the children how to live as a light in a dark world, fully embracing the Bible and applying it to their daily walk, ultimately knowing that the answer to every troubling situation can be found in God and His Word.
